Family law

Simon is an experienced family practitioner specialising in proceedings concerning children. He undertakes public and private law work at all levels up to and including the Court of Appeal. Simon also accepts instructions for Contested Divorce, Cohabitee Disputes and Court of Protection matters.

Public law

Simon represents Local Authorities, parents, guardians and children at all levels. He is experienced in cases involving serious physical, sexual and emotional abuse, and neglect. Simon has experience in cases involving jurisdictional and other complex legal issues. Simon often represents vulnerable clients including those with personality disorders and learning difficulties.

Private law

Simon represents parents and guardians in all types of private law children disputes including applications to remove from the jurisdiction and cases involving allegations of serious physical, sexual and emotional abuse.
