Alison joined Chambers in 1991, having previously practised as a tenant at Francis Taylor Building, Temple following completion of her pupillage.

Before that, Alison spent 3 years in the civil litigation department of a firm of solicitors dealing with a broad range of matters, qualifiying as a solicitor in 1986 before transferring to the Bar the following year.

Alison undertakes all areas of work relating to both private law and public law cases. She represents parents, grandparents, children, intervenors, guardians and local authorities, thus having a rounded understanding of the issues and concerns of all parties.

Finance

Alison undertakes all aspects of financial remedy cases including the claims of intervenors. She also advises and represents cohabitees in relation to their property disputes and Schedule 1 Children Act claims.

Civil law

Alison undertakes work in a broad range of civil litigation including property disputes and contentious probate matters.
