Ian completed his first six Pupillage at 8 King’s Bench Walk and second six at Francis Taylor Buildings, Chambers of Nicholas Valios QC now 4 Breams Buildings, London, where he continued as a tenant.

He practised in London, Trinidad and Tobago (Trinity Chambers) and Cardiff (Temple Chambers and 32 Park Place) before moving to Angel Chambers in 2011.

Ian practises in all areas of crime including serious organised crime, violence, public order, drug offences (including conspiracy to import and supply), sexual offences, (including trials involving young witnesses and defendants), fraud, explosives and firearms.

He accepts instructions for the defence and prosecution and is a Grade 3 Prosecutor.
