Hannah joined chambers as a tenant in March 2018 following successful completion of her criminal pupillage under the supervision of Dyfed Thomas.

Prior to pupillage Hannah worked as a paralegal in the Commercial Litigation Department of the leading litigation only law firm in Central London. As part of her role she was involved in high value commercial disputes and unfair dismissal proceedings.

During her time studying for the Bar Professional Training Course Hannah volunteered for the London Innocence Project. As part of her role she reviewed evidence and reinvestigated and drafted grounds of appeal for those who protest their innocence.

 

Practice Areas

Criminal law

Hannah is regularly instructed for both the prosecution and defence in Crown, Magistrates and Youth Courts. She has undertaken an array of instructions in the Crown Court, including: trials, sentence hearings, appeals, and confiscation proceedings. She deals with a wide variety of offences including fraud, drugs, motoring, and violent and sexual offences. Hannah is a Grade 3 Prosecutor on the CPS Panel.

Regulatory

Hannah has been instructed in relation to prosecutions brought on behalf of Local Authorities. She has acted in cases involving product safety and unfair/aggressive commercial practices.
