Natasha joined Chambers as a tenant in 2019 following successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Matthew Rees (Family) and Dyfed Thomas (Crime).

Natasha studied Law at Swansea University where she achieved a First Class Honours. She then completed the BPTC at BPP University Bristol and obtained pupillage at Angel Chambers the same year.

Natasha has developed a broad practice in Family Law. She accepts instructions in private law and public law children matters in addition to financial remedy proceedings.

Natasha has also developed a practice in Criminal Law and accepts instructions in both the prosecution and defence in Crown, Magistrates and Youth Courts.

Family law

Private Law:

Natasha is regularly instructed to represent applicants, respondents and appointed Guardians before all levels of the Judiciary in applications for Child Arrangements Orders, Specific Issue Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders, Enforcement proceedings, Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders. She is instructed at all stage of private law proceedings including finding of fact hearings and final hearings. Natasha frequently represents parents who are alleging or being accused of domestic violence. Natasha is also regularly instructed in cases where there are allegations of parental alienation.

Public Law:

Natasha is often instructed to represent parents, the Local Authority and Guardians at all stages of public law proceedings, from the initial stages of proceedings, through to contested final hearings. Natasha conducts cases involving child neglect, emotional harm and physical harm. She has experience of cross-examining a range of witnesses including expert witnesses, social workers and Guardians. Natasha has a sensitive approach yet offers robust advice to her clients.

Financial Remedy

Natasha also deals with all aspects and stages of family finances including first directions appointments through to final hearings.

 

Criminal law

Criminal Law:

Natasha is regularly instructed by both the prosecution and defence in the Magistrates, Youth and Crown Courts across South and West Wales.

Natasha prosecutes and defends in a wide range of criminal cases such as public order offences, offences against the person, driving offences, sexual offences, drug offences, fraud and theft.

Natasha is also instructed to make Domestic Violence Protection Orders on behalf of the police.

Natasha is a Level 1 on the Crown Prosecution Service Advocate Panel.
